FRS are a key iniative under the Gov ‘Keep them Safe’ Action Plan. They are implemeted by NSW Health. Referrals can be made by staff from Gov. agencies, non gov and private sector, self referral. FRS assist children/families who do not meet statutory threshold for child protection intervention but would benefit from support to prevent escalation. FRS may refer clients on to other relevant agencies for support.
