Indigenous Services

We offer culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, including Specialist Disability Accommodation, Support Coordination and NDIS planning tools.

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples with a disability often face multiple barriers to meaningful participation in their own communities as well as the wider community. Synapse provides services to help connect Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples with a disability to supports.

Community Living Initiative

Cairns Community Living is a safe place of belonging for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples with a disability.

Support Coordination

Synapse offers culturally appropriate Support Coordination services for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Yarn Up Cards

Our Yarn Up Cards are designed to start conversations about the NDIS and provide examples of some of the types of supports and services available.
